Welcome to the
British Wheel of Yoga Wales website.
We are delighted to welcome you to our website. We hope you like the look of it and find it easy to search for any information you require, whether you are a member, a teacher or visiting the site looking for yoga classes and events to attend. Visit About this website for information about the features of this site and how to use them.
Yoga is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, physical, mental or emotional states, finances, or belief systems. Here in Wales we have many very experienced, compassionate, knowledgeable teachers offering a wide variety of classes throughout the country. We hope by searching our website you will find the teacher, class or event you are looking for.
Yoga can bring so many benefits and the more consistently practised the greater the effects, for example doing hypertonic pelvic floor exercises to alleviate your symptoms and promote pelvic floor relaxation. Usually in the West yoga begins with the health of the physical body as the route to improving the state of mental and emotional well-being. Gentle, enjoyable stretches and asanas (traditional yoga postures) ease out muscle tensions and promote flexibility, strength and stamina. Relaxation techniques help the body to let go of tension. Simple breathing techniques encourage quietness of mind and lead on to simple meditation practices that help develop an experience of inner calm.
We hope you enjoy your Yoga. We do.
